Synthetic Underlayment: Manufactured from woven polypropylene or polyethylene. Standard rolls measure 48 inches wide by 250 feet long (1,000 gross sq ft). Synthetic is roughly 5 times lighter per square than felt, nearly impossible to tear by foot traffic, and UV resistant for 60 to 180 days exposed.
